Once I get Part TWO complete and Part THREE as well; I'll combine them.

"Shaylena."

The blonde looked up from her book; her crystal-blue eyes meeting with forest green. She smiled gently at the boy who had spoken her name. "Daniel; hey." She laughed at her friend as he sat down beside her. "Don't tell me. Ailith has a new boyfriend." She guessed just before the dirty-blonde haired even got the chance to speak. Daniel nodded in reply, green eyes showing hate. "And you hate him." Shaylena guessed again, laying her book aside. She was at work, but she was on a break. And she only had fifteen minutes left. She had gotten the job by force; her stepfather insisted that she take the job. "What's his name?" The blonde asked, resting a hand on the boy's shoulder.
He responded through gritted teeth.

"Hendrick." It was obvious he hated the boy. "I hate him! He's Derek's little brother, you know Derek's my sworn enemy-" The blonde beside him burst into fits of laughter, perplexing him. "What? What is it?" He kept asking though she wouldn't respond. Was it something he said? "Shaylena!" Daniel shouted; now frustrated.

"S-sorry. When you said 'sworn' it sounded like 'swoon'. You know, like some of the girls do around you?" Shaylena responded at last, a little hint of jealousy in her soft voice.

"What? I have a girlfriend.. I ain't got time for those whores!"
". . .w-whor-whores...?"
"Yeah. Wait.. Shaylena?"

The blonde jumped up and abandon the boy at the seats. She rushed over to the counter top, opening the cash register and dropping three quarters in. Completely ignoring the perplexed guy calling for her, she disappeared into the back room.
---

"What'd I do?" Daniel wondered as the back room door slammed shut. He looked up and smiled at Darla, his girlfriend. He opened his mouth to speak to her; but she was way ahead of him.

"Who was dat? Ze betta not be ya new girlfriend."

"No!"
---

Shaylena leaned against the wall, listening to the conversation echoing from outside the room. Her heart dropped as these words echoed through: "No! I hate Shaylena, she'd never be my girlfriend. She's annoying!" Tears formed in her eyes, she backed away from the wall. She had been convinced that she was one of Daniel's best friends. . . turns out it was a lie. All a misunderstanding.

"Sorry for ever being nice to you then." Shaylena whispered as she turned to the stove. She heard the door jingle open and one of her crew members taking an order. Hearing the order distantly, she grabbed a cup and poured water into it before placing it on the stove. She knelt down and turned the stove up to 350f. Mentally; she jotted down a note. Two minutes on the stove and it's hot enough. Something clicked in the back of her mind and she snatched one of the teabags from its box. With another hand, she set a second cup on the stove. Water in it as well.

A minute later, she brought both cups out. "Here's table three." She tells a man known as Richard. "I added just a bit more sugar than I should have though." She warned just before he walked away. Shaylena set the extra cup of tea down and turned back to the back door. Before. . .

"SHAYLENA!" Oh shoot.
